Custom Key for bringing up Waveform or Vectorscope?

PostSat Sep 07, 2024 8:17 pm

Is there a way to set up a custom key or cntrl + W to bring the waveform and then cntrl + V to bring up the vectorscope, I find I switch between the two often, prefer them larger and it would be useful to have a shortcut to switch between them.

Thanks

You can Search (and set) keyboard shortcuts under DaVinci Resolve>Keyboard Customization...

(Or hit Ctrl+Alt+K)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I've seen that with some shortcuts. I set it, but it doesn't seem to work.

Is Control-V a keyboard reserved "paste" operation? Also check that you don't have more than one function assigned to a shortcut.

It doesnt seem to be, but I would set it to anything, just something that swaps the two scopes, I tried alt, control, just the letter, they all get accepted as not used, but they all do nothing...

You can't swap between scopes layouts with a shortcut. You can make two Workspace layouts with different scopes settings and add a keyboard shortcut for them.

Not sure about keyboard shortcut , but why not have them both displayed at the same time?

That seems to be the only way, works, thanks
