Davinci Resolve breaking connection to internet.

Hello.

I've been experiencing an issue with Resolve over the past few months. Whenever I run the application, the internet on my device stops working until I close DaVinci again.

After investigating, I discovered that my Wi-Fi adapter seems to be having some issues. I’ve tried reinstalling the drivers, updating the BIOS, and blocking DaVinci in the firewall, but nothing has worked so far. No other applications cause this problem, so it seems to be specific to DaVinci.

Error - Netwtw14

The description for Event ID 5007 from source Netwtw14 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

How did you solve this? We are having the same issue right now, and it's been super frustrating. I hope dsl extreme will be helpful in resolving these internet connection problems. Of course, there's always that chance it's a software issue on our end too, which makes it even harder to pinpoint. Fingers crossed it gets sorted soon—can’t get much done without a stable connection

Hi, i solved it by using an ethernet cable instead of wi-fi. In other words, i didn't solve it.
