Render cropped video

PostSun Nov 03, 2024 11:38 pm

Hello. I'm stuck with the easy task. I really need help.

I have a project with 4k video. I cropped it. When i try to render i get a 4k video with black frame. How can i render the size of the cropped video on timeline without zooming it?

okay, probably my question was not clear.

i have cropped the frame. now i have black board. if i just render it, i will get a videofile with black borders.

i have two options:
1. Make a zoom. It's not good coz i will upscale the video to the original resolution and also crop more frame (it fits the original resolution only if you crop the same aspect ration).

2. Make an output resolution as the cropped frame (dummy video editors or ffmpeg console do it easy) and get for instance 1600*700 instead of 1920*1080.

So is it possible to "deliver" automatically only cropped frame with the frame's resolution? In dummy editors when i crop the file it renders to the cropped resolution automatically.
