Hi,

Just upgraded to 19.1 and it crashes each time I apply a transition (specifically a "Push" transition) to a timeline.

I'm gonna go downgrade to the previous version in the meantime.

It would be helpful to have a project export .drp of the Africa project, along with details of which timeline (if more than 1) you are working on and where in the timeline you are applying the transition when it crashes. So we can try to repro.

A screen recording of the issue happening would also be helpful.

Vid with this problem:
Mine is a new install, crash when i place a push transition on my timeline cursor, crashes only with images (mines are PNG)
TEMP FIX just push your timeline cursor aside when dropping the transition and it wont crash (;

I did end up downgrading, so will the drp file of the project still be helpful? Scott's video does an adequate job of demonstrating the problem as well.

selecting a transition crashes DaVinci.

I've done what's in the video, and I don't get a crash.

So it would be really helpful to have a project export .drp from someone who is experiencing the issue, along with a Resolve diagnostics log file.

I upgraded to 19.1 again and was experiencing the same thing although I could not replicate in a brand new project. I've uploaded the .drp, a fresh crash log, and msinfo file here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... 7IqM70OSg9

The crash happens specifically in Timeline 1 when applying push transition in the Zambia bin.

A screen recording would be super helpful, because I don't understand what you mean by: "when applying push transition in the Zambia bin."

I see in timeline 1, there already is a push transition at 01:15:11:20. Is that push transition not causing a crash?

Is the issue only happening when applying the push transition to compound clips?

The newly released 19.1.1 has some fixes in this area. Please try it out and let us know if it fixes your issue.
