I have had this issue for several years.
When shooting on Duel Cards, and then using Media Management to copy used clips I have an issue.
Firstly, the Duel Card recording has worked very well... the problem looks to be with Media Management.
I have always ran into problems and now I think I have found a work around and maybe an indicator as to what to fix. Something definitely needs fixing in the code.
What I now have noticed is that the clips after Media Management play back at twice speed.
What I did was to change in Clip Attributes the fps to double... in this case from 30fps to 60fps.
The clips (set at 60fps) in the timeline (set to 30fps) now play as they should after conform.
If I switch back to the original 30fps clips and conform, they play as they should.
If I switch back to the Media Managed clips set to 60fps and conform, the play as they should... both are in a 30fps timeline.
I do not know if further issue might arise from this so am still not using Media Manager... trouble is I shoot most everything in Duel Card mode. I would like to use the Media Manager to save only the portions of the clips I will use for the edit so as to save storage space. However, it seems strange to have the clips that play correct at 30fps set to 60fps (double the frame rate.)
I am confident that a fix to the code would solve this... a problem that has been overlooked for years.
Please let me know when this issue will be addressed... thanks.
