Am i the only one who gets audio pops while using mp3 files with Resolve?

2 systems: PC Win 11 / 5800X / 6800XT / Focusrite Scarlett Solo Mk4 and MacBook Air M1 , latest updates, i simply cannot use any soundtrack that is in Mp3 format, the sound starts to pop and various artifacts, only when i export them as WAV files i can use them in Resolve.

Video files used is of no importance since it pops even on empty timelines.

I had this issue since forever with Resolve but i didn't gave it too much attention till today when i had lots of work with very fast turnaround and wasting time to convert to WAV gets annoying very fast

MP3 is a pretty bad format for post, and even worse if it's 44.1 kHz.

No issues with reproduction of mixed rate MP3 media on either macOS and Windows 10.
Resolve automatically converts the source media rate to the Project rate.

Is this behaviour source specific? What is the source of the MP3 files?

That would be a question for Adobe to answer.

If it were me, I'd try as hard as I could to use WAV files converted to 48kHz/24-bit, which is what Resolve is set up to use for audio.

Audio pops sounds like a sampling rate mismatch.

That is the 'correct' way. ;)

It was a typo, i wrote Premiere instead of Resolve, edited.

I left those habits back in 2018, DR 15 was love at first sight, used a cracked version to really see how good was the hardware acceleration (the free version back then was slow without it), as soon as i've seen it how fast it was i bought it the next day.
