Import sperate Audio Files

PostWed Nov 27, 2024 8:19 am

Hey!
I try to use Davinci Resolve for a ProRes Delivery work flow. I got the movie as ProRes and have to delivery it with new audio, 16 tracks including original mix and dub mix. When I import 6 separate tracks from Pro Tools they appear as one track. I need separate tracks to bring them in the right channel order. Any idea?

Cheers!

Configure channel layout via Clip Attributes.

Alternatively on macOS, Command + drag source media from the Media Pool on to the Fairlight Timeline to place individual clips on separate Timeline Audio Tracks.

Command + Shift + drag source from the Media Pool on to the Fairlight Timeline to place clips at embedded Start Timecode positions.

If the source media file names include channel suffixes, rename the source and remove suffixes to prevent Resolve from treating the source as a single Audio Clip.
