Unlocking tracks not always working for the Inspector

PostWed Nov 27, 2024 10:35 am

Sometimes I need to lock and unlock a track twice to get the adjustments in the Inspector reacting again.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Are you using keyboard shortcuts to lock/unlock, Uli?

It depends, sometimes the mouse too, trying to change activity of my hand. Thinking about it, it may have been with the mouse when it happened.

So, you're working with a track locked, and when you want to work on it again you unlock it, but that doesn't work. You have to lock and unlock again?

Do I follow?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

No, it's not that bad. If I unlock it, I can edit the track just as usual, but sometimes the transform settings in the Inspector stay greyed out and can't be operated. Locking and unlocking again solves the issue.

Yep, one of those bugs developers really hate.
I just thought I should tell in the forum, to see if others made the same experience.
