Thanks Chadwick,
What I'm still unclear about, is the requirements for the two units to "sync" and what is needed to make it happen. If I have a 1TB Blackmagic cloud storage, will both units only "sync" 1 TB of data? Do I need 48TB of cloud storage if I'm using a 48TB Cloud Store Max in order to mirror them? Or once they sync, the Cloud Storage is then freeded up for more data to sync?
For example, google workspace works like a server, and users pull down what they need locally. But when they don't need it any longer, they don't delete it locally, they just mark it as available online only. Does Blackmagic Cloud Storage work the same way? Or can it be treated more like a transfer service, where I'm just sending data to the other local storage through their service, but not keeping my data on the cloud once it reaches the other cloud store.
30TB through blackmagic is $450/month. I like the idea of the live syncing between Cloud Stores, but I'm thinking I might need a different transfer protocol or approach for the initial ingest of a project (typically 10TB). Once the raw footage is transferred, there isn't a need to keep that data in the cloud and pay for the storage there.
