Blur Palette Bug

I came across a GUI bug with the blur palette.
Once you push the blur amount beyond 1.00 and then back off slightly it instantly jumps down to 1.00 again. This makes dialing in precise blur radii incredibly hard.

I can't recall if this is how it was before, in previous versions, but it seems something was done to the sliders behavior in version 19, because people have reported big and unexpected and often unwanted jumps in using mouse scroll wheel with many sliders in the color page. This could be related to that.

I never really used it like that, because I think it was meant to be used with proper hardware wheels and control panel, rather than mouse, so I tend to move the mouse over numbers left and right or enter number I want. That's why I can't remember if this is how it always worked, but it seems to be same in other three options in the same blur panel. Mist and sharpening.

I also noticed inconsistency even among OpenFX filters. Like mosaic blur sliders. When using mouse scroll wheel.

I can't speak for R19, because I upgraded from 18.6 to 19.1, but it was definitely not like that in older versions.

Your screenshot shows a different bug. Don't get me wrong, but I'd like to keep this thread on topic, as this might be unrelated.

I find it odd than it CAN go above 1, given the slider's range. :?

Maybe its not related. Speaking of your situation. Have you tried to do the same with mouse scroll wheel, control panel or using mouse over the value box, moving left and right? This thing you describe seem to only be when you pull the slides beyond 1 with a mouse at which point its hard to be precise because you can't see past 1.0. The other methods seem to offer the procession. Can you confirm.

Not at the panel rn, but it works no problem with the mouse wheel. It's only a problem when you drag the bars with the mouse.

Many sliders in Resolve go beyond their range. This is one of them that went to 10.0 for years.
