I have an infuriating problem. I did a clean windows install on a new PC I bought. I added a 1TB m.2 ssd to serve solely as the location of the ProxyMedia, Cacheclip and .gallery folders of Resolve. I changed the folder location in Resolve under "Master Settings" to the new ssd, but it will not stay there.
Every time I open up Resolve, it defaults not to the Resolve defaults, but to my Desktop!
I tried uninstalling Resolve and reinstalling it, but the exact same problem persists.
Does anyone have any clue?
I am on the latest Resolve Studio version.
PC is windows 10, RTX 4090, 128GB Ram, Intel Core Ultra 7
