View clips side-by-side to adjust zoom

Apologies if this is a NOOB question, but after much reading and searching, I can't find an answer.

I have two adjacent clips. They were shot with different levels of zoom. During the last few seconds of the first clip, I want to zoom in to approximately the same zoom as the second clip.

Is there a way to see the two clips side-by-side, or in a split view, at the cut point so I may adjust the zoom and position properties of the first clip to match the second?

I've read about and tried Dual Viewer, but the left viewer appears limited to showing content from the media pool and not a position from the timeline.

I've read about and tried the Trim Editor, but unfortunately, I can't find a way to have the Inspector show the values for the first clip.

In the Inspector, you can use the Transform's Zoom and Position parameters to temporarily get both clips to show.

Sorry, how do you do this?

Ahhh. For that, I would recommend taking a step back. As a first step, go through at least the Beginner's Guide training manual before you try working on any real projects. Things will go so much smoother. ;)

I also don't know what technique Jim is referring to.
But now I'm curious!

This is how I would do it:

1. Go to the color page.
2. Grab a Still of the clip (at the position) you want to match to.
3. Select the clip you want to match.
4. Move the playhead to the position you want to match.
5. Doubleclick the still you grabbed before.
Now you should see the image wipe screen with many options that you can customize.
I think the "Mix" or "Difference" view is best for this purpose.
6. In the middle of the screen (or on the right side of the screen in dual screen mode) go to Sizing > Edit Sizing and adjust the image.

OK, I believe that I figured out what Jim only hinted at.

I solved my problem by overlapping the clips in the timeline on two tracks and setting the Composite Opacity of the top clip to 50%. This allowed me to see both clips simultaneously. I then adjusted the zoom and position of the first clip to match the second (temporarily overlapped clip). I then moved the second clip back into its correct position on the timeline and reset its Composite Opacity.

In the color page, you have split view and ability to use sizing panel in reference sizing mode, to size the reference for color grading, but works the same way for zoom and transform. You can also do it in fusion page, where usually I would do this kind of thing.

Other possible methods I mentioned by previous posters.
