Application doesn't open

DR doesn't open. I updated Nvidia studio drivers and I reinstalled DR a couple of times using Revo uninstaller to make sure all the files from DR are gone before I install again. After each installment I get askes the set up questions, but when I click start it disappears and nothing opens. When I click on DR then, it starts the loading icon twice and disappears without opening anything. Also the task manager doesn't show that my laptop is loading anything. I also tried this list from ChatGPT, but noting works. Who can help me?

1. Check System Requirements
Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for the version of Resolve you're installing (especially if you're upgrading to a newer version).
• Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit), macOS 10.15 or higher, Linux.
• RAM: At least 16GB (32GB recommended for Fusion).
• GPU: Modern NVIDIA/AMD with 4GB VRAM or higher.

2. Manually Reset Configuration Files
Sometimes, corrupted settings or preferences can block Resolve from opening.
Reset DaVinci Resolve Preferences:
• Hold Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + Shift (Mac) while launching Resolve.
• This resets the preferences to their default state.
Delete Configuration Files:
• On Windows:
○ Navigate to:
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
○ Delete the Preferences folder.
• On Mac:
○ Go to:
~/Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve
○ Delete the configuration files in this folder.

3. Force DaVinci Resolve to Use Your NVIDIA GPU
If you have an integrated GPU and a dedicated NVIDIA GPU, Resolve might incorrectly default to the integrated one.
Set Preferred GPU:
• Open the NVIDIA Control Panel:
○ Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
• Go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings.
• Select DaVinci Resolve (or add it if not listed) and set the Preferred Graphics Processor to High-Performance NVIDIA GPU.
• Apply changes and try launching Resolve.

4. Install the Studio Driver (Not Game Ready Driver)
If you updated your NVIDIA driver, ensure you’re using the Studio Driver instead of the Game Ready Driver. The Studio Driver is optimized for creative applications like DaVinci Resolve.
• Download it from the NVIDIA Studio Driver page.

5. Check for Conflicts with Other Software
Some software can interfere with DaVinci Resolve, preventing it from launching:
• Background Apps: Close any screen recording software, overclocking tools (like MSI Afterburner), or other resource-intensive apps.
• Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall and try launching Resolve. If it works, whitelist Resolve in your security software.

6. Check for Missing Redistributables
Resolve relies on certain Windows components to function. Reinstall the required libraries:
• Install the latest versions of:
○ Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (x64 and x86).
○ DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer.
• Restart your computer after installation.

7. Try an Older Version
Sometimes, the latest version of Resolve might not be fully compatible with your system.
• Go to the Blackmagic Design Support Page.
• Download an older stable version (e.g., 18.5) and test if it works.

1. Check, everything good enough
2. Doesn't work because DR doesn't open
3. Done
4. Have already
5. Tried, doesn't work
6. Installed and tried again
7. Also tried, didn't work

Troubleshooting may be easier with details such as Resolve version, operating system, and system spec (including GPU and driver).

If the host hangs or crashes, include a link to diagnostic logs. Instructions to generate logs are included in the FAQ at the top of the forum: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90190#16

Thanks for the input, I installed the latest DaVinci Resolve 19.1.1

Since DR doesn't open I run the capture logs. I couldn't find the saved file on my laptop, so I hope that this screenshot is enough. If you need the data under the pop up, can you tell me how to get to that saved file?

The zip file of the capture logs is to big to upload here.
You can download them here: https://we.tl/t-75G2bIZiYg
