How to modify a project edited in Mac OS with Windows PC?
Posted: Thu Jan 30, 2025 2:18 pmI need to modify a DaVinci Resolve project edited in Mac OS by someone else but my workstation is Windows PC. How to solve this if i don`t have a Mac?

Right click on the "Master" bin, choose "Relink Clips for selected bin" and point it to the main folder where your content is. Resolve will re-link everything in a flash. The other person will have to do the same once they get the project back.

He can export it as a DRP or DRT. You can bring that file in. You will likely need to create a drive mapping (i.e. "Mac drive name" = Windows drive letter) configuration in your Resolve.

Posted: Thu Jan 30, 2025 5:55 pmOr, if the source media is shared / organised using the same folder structure, just map the mount points and no-one has to relink anything.
