random loss of audio in the edit timeline

Hi all.

I'm having a weird problem, where audio will stop playing in the timeline. In this scenario, it will be playing fine, then I'll switch over the the source window to pick my take, drop it in and the timeline will no longer play audio. The VU meter still shows audio, but no sound happens. I can then go back to the source window, and the audio will be fine. This is happening to me many times a day. A restart of Resolve fixes it, no problem, but it's annoying. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm in 19.1.3 Build 7, working on a Mac running 15.3.2

Thanks for any insights!

Frazer

What's your audio hardware?

Feeding sound with picture out to a DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K. When the failure happens, the feed is still fine with the source window.

Thanks,

OK.

I've never used that hardware. Does it need a driver update, maybe?

I basically have the same problem that you're describing and even bigger. One day a timeline has audio the next day it doesn't even though the meters are still moving. I was curious as to whether you had found a solution.
