Speed Editor doesn't stop screen saver from starting

I'm using the Speed Editor to cut a long video into pieces in Davinci Resolve.... and after 10 minutes (what my screen saver is set for).... the screen saver kicks in!

Can't we get a software update for the device so it will register input activity to the operating system like a normal device? ....So the computer won't go to sleep?
