Is there a video equivalent of audio beatmapping?

I'm stuck for a way to simply explain what I want to do, so please bear with me, anyone who can be bothered with this request!
It's a "syncing video with audio" thing. In audio, there is a thing called beatmapping https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatmapping This enables you to plot a click which speeds up and slows down. I use this extensively when making drum covers of songs which weren't recorded to a click. I'm facing a unique situation where I wish to record a cover of a song, which was recorded to a click, but I wish to sync it to a live video. The music on the live video speeds up and slows down. Is there any way, within Davinci Resolve, to do a kind of beatmapping of the audio, on the live video, and drag it around to match with the beats on the recorded-to-click video?
I basically want to sync the live (no click) video to the recorded (to a click) audio. This means the live video needs to speed up and slow down. If anybody, who can make sense of this, can help, thanks in advance.
