Davinci wont load

After working, I closed my project but now i go to try open DR and it wont even load. I'm on the latest with the latest windows updates on a decent enough machine and I hadn't done anything other than close it and re open. The worst part for me is that i was close to finishing 2 projects. I believed i had backups active but i cant see any backup files other than timelines in a project backups folder but there's no prj files there.

Attempted so far:
Reboot
Reloaded windows in safe mode
Attached logs
removed control panels
reinstalled graphics card
left Dr to load about 1 hr

nothing's working and I'm loosing my mind - I've lost approx. 1 weeks work as it stands. please help
