During the installation of Reolve Studio 20 Beta, there is an optional component named DaVinci Resolve Open FX Renderer. What is it and do I need it?

You don't need it, since you don't do that kind of work. Its a way to export resolve color grades etc for the other compositing software to be able to read it, such as Nuke for example. You don't do this kind of work, so you don't need it.

Thanks Kruno for the clearing this out.

I tried deleting the graphics card driver (RTX 4090) and reinstalling it, also just about everything else, using Native for rendering seems to make larger video files than needed. What I started doing - in the Delivery Page - Upper left hand corner - click on "Custom Export" button, now select H.265 or H.264 and whatever format and encoder , this seems to work for me and also leads me to believe the main issue is with Resolve, not the computer, windows or a hardware issue, they need to fix this.
