While working with the AI Multicam SmartSwitch feature in DaVinci Resolve, the system is unable to automatically cut video material based on audio. The issue occurs when editing a conversation between two people recorded using three cameras.

Equipment configuration:

- Camera A: Records audio from two lavalier microphones, each on a separate channel.
- Cameras B and C: Record audio only using built-in microphones (used for synchronization).

External tools handle this material without any issues.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue using the AI Multicam SmartSwitch feature. In my case, it's a podcast setup with:

4 cameras

5 external audio sources (4 lav mics + 1 room mic), all recorded via a Zoom H10

I'm working with DaVinci Resolve 20 Beta 2, and the system always freezes at the same point during the audio-only cut process — no error message, just a progress bar that stops around 25%. I’ve tried multiple sync methods, separate timelines for each camera, and replacing in-camera audio with the external audio. Nothing worked.

This tool would be incredibly useful for automating edits in long-format talk shows and podcasts. Hope Blackmagic can look into this bug soon.
