Like the subject says: how does one remove whatever the audio assistant has done? I don't see a 'remove' option where I applied it, so how do you remove it?
Today I tried audio assistant with a 30 second segment of a longer clip. I let it do its thing. It even did a nice fade out at the end. But then i dragged the whole long clip to a new track on the timeline and it faded out after the original length and stayed silent. Even though the VU meter was displaying a signal, there was nothing to be heard. So I'm guessing Resolve was still using the generated automation somewhere.
Either way I couldn't figure out a way to play back my audio in that specific timeline, because I don't know what the Audio Assistant changed.
Only cliicking back and forth to another timeline restored the original sound.
Oh I so hope this isn’t another release with a lot of cool features that don’t really work unless you do everything perfectly and don’t want to do anything afterwards.
