Multicam angle selection issue

PostWed Apr 09, 2025 5:46 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm working with a 2-track multicam clip on a timeline and whenever I want to switch angles, it changes LEFT of the playhead, instead of the normal, expected and actually useful function of changing the camera to the right.

This is the first multicam project I've encountered with this behaviour and it slows down workflow tremendously. I've searched these forums and even asked an LLM for help and to no avail.

I can record this happening and upload it somewhere if you feel it helps.

Has anybody else had similar issues?

Thank you!

I've seen a few others report this, but I don't know if any cause was ever found. No Steps to Reproduce.

What happens if you try in a new project? If that works, maybe you can export the .drt from the weird project.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Right now I've resolved to reinstall the app and see if the issues continue.
