Editing Captions not workingng

I used the "Create Subtitles with Audio" feature and when I try editing the captions in the Captions tab, they don't sync with the "Track" tab nor do they sync with the timeline. It's almost like it partially gets edited but I can't do the full edit.

I came here for this. Trying to figure out how to adjust the animated subtitles.
