Nvidia app nto detecting DaVinci Resole 19 and 20

PostThu Apr 10, 2025 5:32 pm

I recently got a RTX 4070 and I installed the Studio drivers, however in the Graphics section of the app it detects VLC, OBS and AutoCad but not DaVinci resolve, which I have installed. Even performing a manual detection in the folder where it's located doesn't help and when manually adding it it says that it doesn't support optimization, which it actually should.
Others on the nvidia forum have reported that this issue appeared with the update to DaVinci 19 and that even the 20 has the same issue.
Does anyone have any solution?

What driver version are you using? For Resolve 20 you need 570.65 or newer.
Resolve Studio 20.0 build 49
Dell XPS 8700 i7-4790, 24GB RAM, 2 x Evo SSDs, GTX1060/6GB (572.16 Studio Driver), Win10 Home, Speed Editor, Faderport 1, Calibrated Eizo ColorEdge CS230 + BenQ & Samsung monitors for UI, Canon C100mk2, Zoom H2n.

The nVidia App's detection here isn't really necessary.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I have the same issue here. I tried with Resolve 19, 19 Studio, 20 Studio. It just doen't show up and buggs me to death. And yes, it did worked before (I guess with GeForce Experience). I used to have Resolve, VLC and OBS optimized.
