Hello all,

Despite downloading the beta .zip multiple times, saving to different locations each time, and restarting my PC multiple times I can't extract and therefore can't install the beta for Davinci Resolve 20..

! E:\DaVinci Resolve\DR20 Beta\DaVinci_Resolve_Studio_20.0b1_Windows (1).zip: Checksum error in C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DRa21364.33796\Install Resolve 20.0b.dat. The file is corrupt
! E:\DaVinci Resolve\DR20 Beta\DaVinci_Resolve_Studio_20.0b1_Windows (1).zip: The archive is corrupt

That is the copy-pasted log from Winrar. Any ideas of how to fix this? Apologies if there is a megathread for support that I missed somewhere. Let me know and I will delete this and post there if need be. Thanks!

Make sure you finished the download fully— maybe try another browser. The Studio 20 beta download is 7.48GB (windows).

Also, WinRAR uses default temp space as you can see— so make sure there’s at least maybe 20GB free on your C:

Why is the E: drive involved here?

Yeah I bet this is one of those extract and install in all one step issues. Try to extract the installer out of the zip and then run the installer. Two separate commands.
