This old bug is back in 20.0B, same one 19.1 suffered from, eventually fixed in 19.1.1

I am about to re-install v19.1.4 as I have to either lose access to other programs via what used to be my pop up taskbar or use minimized view and have those dreadful blue borders consuming space around the screen. Also, that view is not stable. Yesterday I set it carefully to fit my LH monitor and today it needs re-adjusting. Also, to my surprise when I went too far too to the right I finished up with the timeline spanning both monitors. Well, at least that could be useful?

Not seeing any Taskbar problems here. Pic shows my 3 monitors. Clean Feed plus the two UIs that I have minimised.

The white line at the very bottom of each is where the popup taskbar is. It works on all three screens.
Being able to drag a view across multiple screens is normal in Windows. Here's this forum page dragged across 2. If you click the box top left which makes it full screen the edges will not drag across screens.

Here, I have Full Screen Window unchecked in the Workspace menu. The auto-hidden Taskbar appears when I move the curser to the bottom of the window. I normally have Full Screen Window checked so the popup Taskbar only appears on the Primary Resolve display.

Just to add, I've never seen blue borders with any version of Resolve in the last eight years. ;)

Your previous screenshot shows Resolve 20 minimised so I expect your pop up task bar to be accessible. Instead of using Workspace menu > Show Full Screen Window, use the Maximise, Restore button at top RIGHT (in all normal Windows programs). Just to say I've been using Windows since W3.1 and every program I ever used could be run Maximised or Restored with pop up taskbar always available when I moved the cursor to the bottom of the window. In previous Resolve versions I had full screen all the time and pop up taskbar with this button either way so never needed Workspace menu function.

This version changes all that, don't forget in Resolve 19.1 this same problem was recognised by BM and fixed in 19.1.1. Shrinivas Ramani of Blackmagic Design thanked me for confirming the fix.

My last post showing the two UI screens was maximized using the top right Restore button. The post before that is not showing the taskbar at all. It has the white line at the bottom of each screen showing where it is hidden. ;)
I too have been a Windows user since version 3, and all versions of Resolve, both free and Studio from version 14 through to 20, including all the previous betas.

You can also see that there are no blue borders!

Here's a quick video showing what I see. Resolve is set to Full Screen Window in the Workspace menu. The Secondary Display is on the left, the Primary on the right. Watch the curser on the Primary go to the bottom and the Taskbar pop up.

I see...so you made your RH monitor Windows Primary but have Resolve main screen on the secondary display. Oh! Wow! So now I understand how R20 and the popup task bar works for you while in full screen. Hmm...

Well I suppose there is no fixed rule but the monitor for programs I have always used is the Primary.

I'm reverting to R19.1.4 for now as I have a lot of work to catch up on, but Charles thanks much for the time you spent, much appreciated.

I have my timeline on the left as I've always used Pro Tools that way as well so my neck muscles are biased that way.
Just to add to the fun, though the left hand monitor is the Secondary in Resolve, it is set as the main screen in Windows for any other programs. :D
