Audio Assistant

PostMon Apr 14, 2025 10:54 pm

I didn't make a copy of my timeline (My Bad) and used the audio assistant tool on a short film to be publicly released and unfortunately on all my 5.1 mixes and panning no longer works and unable to correct anything aside from volume.
As many have already stated it seems to lock in all the effects etc and unable to make changes or even undo this audio assistance on track or the entire project.

Any ideas?

I noticed the same—there is undo up to a certain point.
This tool rearranges order of all the audio tracks, which I don't like. We all have a certain way of thinking and organizing in terms of track coloring and sorting, and the "assistant" should respect that.
Also, I noticed that the AI Assistant didn't do any audio ducking in my project. It just reorganized tracks and corrected the final level. The music is too loud on the dialog and voiceovers, and effects are too. I didn't notice any use of audio ducking, neither by listening to the final audio mix nor in the inspector or Fairlight page.
