Inconsistent Zoom controls across the UI

The zoom controls are inconsistent across the UI.
In the viewers on the Edit page - Zoom = Mousewheel
On the Timeline on the Edit page - Zoom = Alt + Mousewheel
In the viewer in Fusion - Zoom = Ctrl + mousewheel
Can these be standardized, other than reprogramming shortcuts in the Preferences?
