Don't install 20

PostTue Apr 15, 2025 3:52 pm

I have tried to use DaVinci Resolve 20 twice now. once on window 10 and once on windows 11. It is unusable. Crashes all the time. Crashes just moving from one window to another. Said it was going to take over 20 hours to render a 20 sec clip.
Tracking was a bit better than the old one. But nothing to write home about. Voice changer just changed the pitch of my voice and took several hours to do it.
Just wait till all this is fixed

Studio 20 is running fine here. I would suggest you post a log and NFO file.

I haven't had a crash yet on either of my two Windows systems (one 10, one 11).

You can actually help BMD with any bugs by posting up the proper Crash Logs and other info, details of which can be found in the FAQ.

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
