Muting the Video Monitors During Render Queue?

PostWed Apr 16, 2025 12:39 am

My concern is that outputting to the monitors is using resources that could be better spent on rendering to file.

When I render in Adobe Premiere, the monitors are off and all the GPU horsepower goes to rendering to file. I'd like to turn off the video echo to monitors when rendering from the Render Queue, as it's probably using significant resources to display AND render at the same time.

How do I do this?
PRIMARY WORKSTATION: Dual Xeon E5-2667 vs, 128GB RAM, RTX3090Ti, Speed Editor, HP LP3065, LG 31MU97-B
SECONDARY WORKSTATION: i7-9700K, 64GB RAM, RTX3090, Speed Editor, HP LP3065

PROJECTION: Sony VPL-VW675ES

You can change this in the menu for the Viewer on the Deliver page. (Update During Renders)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thank you. Had no idea that option was there!
