Davinci Resolve Studio Licence - Problem

Hello there! I'm new and I wanted to ask a question, if anyone knows of way to get out of this predicament.

A colleague of mine "not anymore", which happens to be an amateur director "not that it matters" I gave him money to buy the Studio version of Resolve and instead of using my credentials which I would have changed later he used his own and now he is the owner.

My problem involves the license that was not intended to be owned by the current owner. He used his own credentials.

Is there a way for the current owner to transfer the rights of "Studio" to another account?

Like transferring the rights of ownership to another user, which I would guess it will make him not having the Studio version anymore. Is that possible? And if possible what are the steps? I know that legally I can't pursue it. It was a dumb move on my part to trust him. I got cheated and it's on me. But anyway. Is there a way to transfer the ownership to another account through the website or his settings or plan?

Any information you can give me? Since I am not a Studio user I can't contact BMS directly so I turned here. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and have a great day.

You can contact Blackmagic Design also if you are not a user of software to ask them by support page or phone number for your place.
The best info can be found by official support.

He purchased either the dongle or the activation card.

You would have top get that from him. If he doesn't give it voluntarily...start saving your next $300. :(
