Audio cuts out at a certain point

I have a timeline that is inserted into another timeline, which is showing my intro TO MY VIDEO.
So it started with a small clip, then the intro then it carried on with the rest of the video
The problem is that after I play the intro, the audio cuts out.
If I played the audio after the intro first, it plays perfectly, and then if I play even a small bit of the intro then the audio cuts out after that. I can go back to the 1st clip, and the intro all his audio, but after that, o more audio.
I even rendered the intro in place, but this does not change anything.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
