Why is my Pixel 7 video more vivid than my Davinci timeline?

Problem: My video in Davinci timeline looks washed out when using my Pixel 7 footage in Davinci. When I compare my Media Player to my Davinci timeline, the Media Player appears more vivid and has better skin tone. Why is this so different? See the imgur link below for a side by side comparison for what I am trying to convey.

What I have tried: I asked Gemini, and the AI told me to try the following, but after implementing the following, I did not see any any significant changes:

Project Settings:

Color Science: DaVinci YRGB Color Managed
Color Processing Mode: Custom
Timeline Color Space: Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4
Output Color Space: Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4

Media Pool:
Input Color Space for Pixel 7 clips: Rec. 709

Color Page:
Actively using primary and secondary color correction tools to increase saturation and contrast.

Video used came from Pixel 7 H.264/AVC

Your screen capture looks like you recorded in HLG.

Change input color space through the Rec2100, PQ and HLG options and see if one looks correct. Sadly it seems like it is still very much wild west with phone HDR, so guess and check is about the only way to know what Pixel is doing exactly.

Put he file in Media Info Tool and send a screen shot of the metadata it is showing. This is what Media Player read so the file looks correct there. Sadly Resolve is more of a 'With Much power comes much responsibility" and expects you to know what your files are and choose the correct metadata yourself.
