Jitter After Render – DaVinci Resolve 19.1.4

Subject: Jitter After Render – DaVinci Resolve 19.1.4 – Samsung S24 Footage

Hi everyone,

I know this is an old thread, but I’m hoping someone might still see this—otherwise, I’ll start a new one.

I recently upgraded to DaVinci Resolve 19.1.4 (Build 11).

My footage is recorded on a Samsung S24 at 30fps, and I haven’t changed my timeline frame rate. I’ve produced several videos with this setup in the past without any problems.

However, I’m now noticing jitter after rendering on some clips. It only happens on about 1 in 20 clips, usually during the first few seconds, and seems to affect panning shots (left-to-right or right-to-left) the most.

I use proxies during editing, and playback on the timeline is completely smooth. The jitter only appears in the final rendered output.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround?

Ill ask for assistance again. I never had this issue on previous versions of Da Vinci. Only once I upgraded to 19.1.4 (Build 11)

I shoot my footage with a GoPro Hero 10 Black at 4k, 30 fps and also on my Samsung S24 phone 16:9 H.264 FHD 30 fps. After rendering, I find that some (only some) of my clips with movement of panning appear blurry and jittery. What can be the cause? Other clips from the same sources render 100% perfect. This happen with both GoPro as well as phone footage. The problem is not the original footage and I also never had this problem on aerlier versions of Da vinci. When I play the original footage on TV or PC, it plays 100% correct. MY timeline setup is the same as I have used in previous versions of da vinci (V17; 18 up). I am now on 19.1.4 Build 11.
