Audio fade at ?timeline? level

BETA V20B Build 23

Randomly just a hair past 29 minutes my audio fades to zero

After the fade in the mixer A1 is still active, but Bus1 not showing any activity
It affects audio across all channels, even new ones
I tried copy/paste attributes from aearlier audio on A1, no change
I tried hitting all the reset icons on the clip, no change
I initially thought it was a bad cut becuase that's where it felt like first started, but if I take the audio track, move it to a new audio channel and start 10 sec earlier, the sound fades at the same 29min mark
Further to above, if I do a global cut 10sec earlier somewhere in the timeline, the fade sound happens later in the clip, but still at 29min
Cannot find any visual representation anywhere of what is causing the fade
Tried an Export and Import as a hail mary, still there.

Naturally just after this post was approved, I found a solution from another group.

Turning off Toggle Automation in Fairlight resolves the issue.

I still don't know what the actual issue is, and if you toggle Automation while the track is playing it seems to do weird stuff like cutting all audio or not, so stopping the playhead before making changes is advised.

Thank you for leaving this here. It was really helpful. I was already considering working on the audio in another program.
