Failed to write to project library folder
Posted: Tue Apr 22, 2025 6:11 amHey there! I work on a MacBook Pro 2022 M2, I recently upgraded to MacOS Sequoia 15.4 and since then, my Davinci Resolve has been giving me this error during boot-up of the software:
"Failure to write to project library folder 'Users/...../Resolve Project Library'. Please make sure you have the correct permissions."
I have double-checked the permissions for this folder (read-and-write for all), I've updated the software to 19.1.4, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it - yet the error keeps popping up. I even tried locating the "dblist.conf" file that someone else mentioned on a previous thread related to this subject. Not able to find it.
Can someone please help me diagnose this issue? Don't want all my work to go down the drain
