With the removal of keyframe viewing / editing directly on selected clips, I think it's very important to allow users to show and use the Keyframe Tray, even when using Stacked Timelines.

I understand that some people will use a pancake timeline setup when Stacked Timelines are enabled, and that would confuse things, but many of us just want to use that the setting in order to have multiple timeline tabs open. When that is the case, there is no reason we shouldn't be able to use the Keyframe Tray.

Would it work if the Keyframe Tray is available when Stacked Timelines are enabled, and then it disappears if people decide to use pancake timelines? Even if people are using pancake timelines, the Keyframe Tray could just show at the very bottom of the screen, and be tied to whatever the selected clip is.

+1 I use stacked timelines 99% percent of the time. Being able to see where my keyframes are in context of the timeline is crucial.

Totally. I like the extra control in the new Keyframe Panel for sure. But for quick adjustments, it’s so nice to see that keyframe tray. And like you said, many people use stacked timelines.
