Hi,
I try to create subtitles from timeline, and every time I try, it either hands a few seconds before finishing, or just goes idle and I need to force quit Resolve to be able to use the program. Any idea anyone how I can work around this problem?
I am having to create a transcription of the timeline, export it as srt and then import that as a subtitle, which seems to sort of work. I can then create the subtitles, but why do I need to do this workaround in the first place?

Macbook Air, M1, 16GB RAM, 8 Cores (4 performance and 4 efficiency). Davinci Resolve Studio. Editing from Crucial 4TB SSD drives. MAc OS The latest. I am on auto updates
