Kinda looks like a Stream Deck. Curious myself it it works in Resolve.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I am curious if it would work as a replacement for the speed editor ( which is broken because of the lack of key customization from BM ) . I read somewhere online that the knob isnt working really well for resolve but that was all that i could find about it.

Mine work well (knob) no issues, on the customizations I don't care about, I saw that when I was looking at to buy. Also, I have a Logitech mouse (love it), but the price point of this device is way too high for what it does, imo.

I know and i am a bit provocative about it, just because i really don't understand why this fantastic bit of hardware doesn't allow for some key customisations.

And really know how to call it any other way, for example:

You can set a IN and an OUT point - Fantastic!! Clear In and out too. GREAT!

But how would you Loop Play in to out then from the speed editor?

Or

The Close up Function - great, adjusting YPOS, AWESOME! XPOS? Woops?

Or

Or or or or..

I was excited for that until I saw the $200 price. I don't know how logitech is expecting any market at that price?

Contour makes shuttle wheels at $60 and $100.

I guess maybe compared to the $550 Loupdeck CT, $200 isn't bad?

The BM speed editor is $430 and comes with a resolve key, This seems like the much better choice if editing time is money to you. It is very locked down to Resolve cut page only though.

I will say the OLED, customizable buttons are cool looking and no doubt can be useful for a bunch of stuff. I see Darren Mostyn say he has a stream deck to go with his giant console to do stuff the BM console can't. You can get these alone for $60, 150, $250 from Elgato depending how many buttons you need.

Have tried it few months ago, didn't have good feeling with it nor the good experience in DaVinci.
It was all laggy, shortcuts on the buttons where working ok, but it was like there was a lag after pressing the button and seeing it execute the shortcut assigned to it.
Jog and the other "wheel" where very sensible on the timeline that it was quite unusable.
But that was few months ago, it wasn't set by me, have just used it for few hours in few days at my colleague station. She also wasn't happy using it nor in Davinci nor in photoshop and lightroom, too laggy and "slow" and not very responsive. But that was few months ago, it is maybe be solved with various updates or whatever but didn't used it since then so can't tell.

It's very subjective of course, but I also didn't like having only 9 buttons then switching pages and searching for button that you need.. As I said earlier, have used it only for few hours so take it for what it is..

I use Stream deck xl with mini panel at home, and it is joy to use when you set it your self for your personal needs.
Also got stream deck + but still prefer xl with 32 buttons on one page.

There are also a lot of good profiles and plugins on marketplace, but for my workflow I just prefer to set it with the things that I need and not having 50+ pages of shortcuts and commands that I don't need and that slow me up. But it's all subjective and what one is used to.

I've been considering it, though waiting until there were some customisations for Resolve. Plugins are now available but I'm still holding back. I was offered long-term loan of the Speed Editor but most of my Resolve work is in the edit page and it didn't add much. I find my MX Master 3 mouse, with a bit of customisation, already does what I need, coupled with learning a few keyboard shortcuts.

My needs are simple: I rarely visit the Fusion page and only need the Colour page for occasional tweaks. I could probably get by with iMovie instead of Resolve, but I want to do a bit more than just "get by".

To get back on topic and answer the main question: no, I'd like to try it, but I'd probably find it doesn't add anything worth the money to simple workflows.
