negitive pixel values

PostThu Apr 24, 2025 1:56 am

running 20.0.b1 on w10
source is RED raw @ 6k, debayer is premium/16b/GPU
timeline is Dci4k
ACEScct
seeing negitive pixel values in the edit page
not visiable in the color page or exported master

minor annoyance, not slowing me down

standard debayer settings, "use camera metadata" only changes from default was full premium + 16b

I should have the optimise turned off always, I'll need to get back into that project to check

I was gradeing plates for a volume stage, it's rare that i see RED anything in 2025, aside from stunts and plates, that's now gone off to a be a cog in the greater machine of film

It's all Arri35, Venice or EXR, no issues with footage from those sources
