Dear Sir/Madam, I am planning to update my computer soon with a "clean" installation of WIN11. What will happen to the license for a program that I will have to reinstall? I have DaVinci Studio. How should I proceed? Thank you for your answer.

Deactivate your license in Davinci Resolve.
After installing and starting DR Studio on your new Win 11you put in your Serial No .

Make sure you have a separate backup of your database(s) before doing the upgrade.
If you are unsure, Deactivate Licence is the last item in the Help dropdown menu.

Make sure you have the license number as it will not be still on the PC when you clean install. The drive will be formatted before WIN11 installs. If you upgrade rather than clean install it should still be there. That piece of paper with the license number on it is like cash.
