I reported this issue years ago and it's still not fixed in the latest version.

On the Edit timeline, I have both source and timeline viewers up. In the source viewer, click the dots in the upper right corner and select Show Full Clip Audio Waveform. Save your project. Close Resolve.

Relaunch Resolve and reopen your project. It's no longer checked.

In Resolve Studio 20 beta 2, when you re-open the project it opens with Timeline selected. Switch to the Source viewer and the waveform is there. It does however default to the Source Tape view.

It's unfortunate, but Show Audio Waveform on Source Clip is still one of those things that just doesn't 'stick' like it should.

This has been an issue for years. I have no idea why it hasn't been fixed yet.
