Is there a way that I can just double click to go into a timeline I have inside the edit tab timeline.
I know its a case of just right click, open in timeline, but sometimes I just want to double click, just feels rather unnatural to right click and look for an option. Especially when the double click serves no other function on that timeline?

I wanted a icon for that, but we get shortcuts. I made two shortcuts that I use all the time. After that I no longer miss the missing icon for it. You could do the same. My custom shortcuts are close to where my moues hand is, so its easy to just click to open and its not used by other shortcuts.
"/" open in timeline
"*" open in fusion page
And now they gave use option to open timeline settings from the tab when current timeline is open. Which is a big time saver for me. I haven't yet checked if there is option to customize shortcut for that one as well.

In version 20, a double-click loads the Compound into the Source Viewer like any other clip.
