I have a problem with DR where nay image in color page is moved to the rightcorner and not showed in the middle -- it is not very practical. I have looked everywhere but can't find a solution how to open animate ( video) above th timeline, in the middle.

In the DaVinci Resolve menu > Prefernces window > User tab, you can disable UI Settings >> Use optimised UI layouts for vertical video... this should put your viewer back where it used to be.
