Newbie here, I am at the end of my patience trying to figure out how to change the layout back. I am missing the timeline zoom and the way my clips are laid out seems different too. I tried resetting preferences. If anyone has any ideas I appreciate the help so much!

You are on the Cut page which has by design no zoom bar.

Maybe you were on the Edit page before.
