iPad / Mac: Do I need Studio Version on both devices?

I’m using Davinci Studio on my Mac and think about buying a iPad Air M3 to work on the go. Do I need the studio version there for basic editing, before moving the project to the Mac for the final cut with voice isolation and magic mask?

The results out of the free version are fully compatible with Studio.
