Change in text doesn't trigger new cache render

PostTue Apr 29, 2025 10:49 pm

Working on a project with over 50 tracks, but still rather simple, half of which have a 2 second simple text generator. After leaving the machine alone for a while so it could render to the cache, I realized that four of those titles had a typo, having typed "trasnmission" instead of "transmission".

So I clicked on each and corrected the typo in the inspector. But the blue line at the top of the timeline didn't change. It was still blue, and playback was smooth, but was still showing "trasnmission" in every single one of them.

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
