Issue using JPEGs in timeline

Hey all. Hope all is well. New to Davinci. I was using a jpeg in my timeline. The first attachment is the original jpeg. I was able to render the project out with no issue. I rendered it out to an MP4 and it looked complete fine. I close out of the project and went back in the next day and the jpeg in my timeline now looks distorted (2nd Attachment). Now if I try to add anything or make any adjustments I'm having difficulty working with the project. What can I do or should I be doing to fix this? This is my first post in the forum. If I should be posting this type of question elsewhere in the forum please let me know. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello and welcome!

You have posted in the correct place.

I see two things I'd like expanded: 1) Does the jpg work on its own, eg on a timeline without any fusion? (to rule out fusion interference)
2) Does the jpg work on another system? (to rule out anything on your system. In other words I'm asking for a copy of the file, or any other file that shows the same issues.)

To get around automatic link blocking, add spaces in the beginning to break up https, www and/or .com

Thank you for your response.

Because I just started using Davinci this is the first project using jpegs. I wanted to try and figure out this issue before moving on to another project with jpegs and possibly having the same result.

This is what the project looks like when rendered:

Again when I try to go back to the project to make adjustment is when I run into issue working with the file. Below is a dropbox link for the .dra file:

I would argue that making a new test project to verify things is a 2 minute job that is a useful debugging tool. If it is only one jpg that exhibits this problem, it's the jpgs fault. If it's every jpg, it's the setups fault. We need to determine which of those it is.

Ah okay. Thank you. I will try out another project and use a jpeg in it.
