Resolve "freezes" after each install

[url][/url]This is not new, seen this in V19 at least..

When opening the first project after installing a new version of Resolve, Resolve seems to do something (what?) so that it takes like "forever" (easily half a minute on a lower specced machine), before the project is editable. During the "freeze" I can move from eg Edit to Color, but the video shows no thumbnails and cannot perform any editing actions.

CPU is working hard (like 25-40% CPU load, again no monster CPUs), hardly any GPU load. So Resolve is doing something in the background on the CPU.

The next projects open and behave like expected..

I can well understand if there is some housekeeping to do after an install, but it would be really cool if Resolve posted a pop-window saying like "I'm setting things up, ready in nn seconds." and have the seconds count down.

Seen on both my AMD/AMD (earlier versions of Resolve) and Intel/Intel systems (betas) so not specific to a CPU or GPU family. Don't have an NVIDIA system any more so cannot say for that. All my source material is H.264 or H.265 4:2:0 so nothing special there either..
