Lag switching from 'Timeline in Source Viewer' to 'Timeline'

In a cloud project:

Couple seconds delay when clicking between the two opened timelines (one blue in source viewer, one red in timeline).

Also clicking to a certain point on the timeline and switching to it will refocus the playhead and then perform the switch, thus bringing you to a new point farther out on the timeline than what you initially clicked.

I think the delay is more standard in a cloud project when switching between two stacked timelines, as it has to load each one. It still makes it difficult in a setup where I'm quickly moving shots from my assembly in source to my rough cut timeline.

However, clicking between the timelines and having the timeline be shifted and panned is likely a bug. I compared it with local project behaviour, and in local projects it is really smooth and works as desired.

Check out this 1.5 minute video I made which really shows and explains the issue.

I see a similar lag with simple, local projects. It's not too bad, but it's noticeable and sometimes a little annoying.
